We have recently completed a study that investigates the case for faster delivery of housing development, in High Peak. This area is bounded by a national park, and yet remains commutable to Manchester and Cheshire, and therefore our assessment of demand showed the need for new housing of all types and tenures.
We are currently investigating the sites which could increase the annual yield of housing completions including the reinvigoration of some large schemes that require substantial infrastructure improvements to bring them to fruition. .
In that regard our findings are buoyed by a successful bid to Homes England’s Housing Infrastructure Fund, that could see an additional 500 homes delivered, alongside several key transport improvements.
