We were recently a guest at the Homes and Communities Agency’s launch of this £3bn fund in Manchester. It aims to scale up the rate of housebuilding by investing in schemes brought forward by SME housebuilders. The launch was hosted by Danielle Gillespie, General Manager from the Agency, who spent several years as a consultant at Inner City Solutions.
Following on from this we have been successful in making the business case and arranging HCA funding for a housebuilder with a 49 unit mixed tenure scheme in Lincolnshire, which will become a 250 dwelling estate, rebalancing the local market with the main elements consisting of housing for sale.
