Inner City Solutions provided the successful application to DCLG for £4m of ERDF support toward a new bio-medical sector research exchange, known as the Institute in the Park.
The new centre forms an important part of the new £200m Alder Hey hospital campus which was recently completed.
The £12m centre will generate new opportunities for collaboration with bio-medical SMEs, instilling technology transfer with the aim to speed the process of commercialisation of new products and drugs which are linked to Alder Hey, and its partners, including the University of Liverpool and Edge Hill University.
